What to Expect

During this first session, we take the time to find about as much about your medical history and current functional capacity as possible to ensure a tailored, holistic program is provided specifically for you.

We gather objective data around your body composition, lower/upper body strength, balance, max or submax cardiovascular fitness as well as conducting a biomechanical movement analysis to identify the source of your pain.

Once this data is obtained, we sit with you and breakdown the ideal program that will address your goals and health needs.

What to Bring

Bringing in as much background information regarding your health and related conditions is critical in assisting us create the ideal holistic program for you. This can range from a simple blood test to recent scans to specialist reports. Every bit of information is useful in creating the perfect program for you.

FAQs:

Do I need a Doctor’s referral?

No you do not however you may get a referral from your GP through Medicare’s Chronic Disease Management Plan. This allows a medicare rebate of up to 5 exercise physiology sessions per calender year.

Once this data is obtained, we sit with you and breakdown the ideal program that will address your goals and health needs.

Can I claim a rebate for my treatment?

If you have private health insurance and have extras cover, you may be eligible to have a portion of your consultation fee covered by you insurance. It is best to confirm with your insurance in regards to whether or not you are covered and how much you can claim on each session.
